Hayk Sayadyan
Acting Director

Hayk Sayadyan graduated from Yerevan State University, Faculty of Economics. He holds PhD in economics. He has been working at the Ministry of Health since 2003.
Working in the field of health care for over 15 years he has passed a long way from the Junior Specialist of the Department of Economics and Financial Flows of the State Healthcare Agency to the Head of the Department of Health Economics and Control of the Department of Economics and Accounting, Deputy Head of the Department, Deputy Head of the Global Fund's Project Coordination Group.
He has also been involved in the financial component of the Yerevan State Medical University, the National Assembly and many other projects.
He has passed professional trainings in Budapest, Kyrgyzstan, Italy, USA, Czech Republic, Greece, Switzerland and so on.
According to the Prime Minister's Decree 933-A of July 10, 2018, he was appointed Acting Director of the Health Project Implementation Unit State Agency.

Arthur Stepanyan
Deputy Director / Financial Manager

Artur Stepanyan has about fifteen years of extensive experience in the field of financial management. From 1998 to 2000 he worked in Ministry of Finance and Economy of RA, at first in the department of the state treasury and afterword in the department of monitoring of grant and credit projects provided by foreign sources. Since 2000 Artur Stepanyan is working in "Health project implementation unit" State Agency of Ministry of Health of RA as a deputy director, financial manager he is responsible for the financial management of the projects carried out by the HPIU.
He holds a Diploma of high financial education gained from the Armenian state Institute of national Economy and has completed several certified courses in Italy, Georgia as well as has participated in courses of financial management and procurement organized by the World Bank in Armenia.
Yervand Elibekyan
Primary Health Care Development Component Coordinator

Yervand Elibekyan has more than fifteen years of extensive experience in the fields of clinical medicine, health system reforms, healthcare design, health care management and administration, healthcare quality, clinical training/retraining, pre-hospital emergency services and consultancy. Since 2000 he coordinates primary health care programs at World Bank supported health projects. He holds an MD degree from the Yerevan State Medical University and has completed several certificate courses in Armenia, Sweden, Hungary, Finland, Italy, Argentine and Zimbabwe.
Kristine Sargsyan
Institutional Development Component Coordinator

Kristine Sargsyan has more than ten years of extensive experience in the fields of health system reforms, healthcare design, health care management and organization, social services monitoring and consultancy. Since January 2012 she coordinates Institutional Development component of at World Bank supported Health System Modernization Project.
Kristine Sargsyan holds a Master's degree in Public Administration, graduated from School of Governance of Sun Yet-sen University in China, as well as Master's degree in Public Health acquired from the College of Health Sciences of American University of Armenia, and a Diploma of Pharmacologist Chemist from the Department of Pharmacological Chemistry of Yerevan State University. She has completed several certificate courses in Armenia, Italy, Spain and Zimbabwe on health, project management, monitoring and evaluation, procurement etc..
Anna Lalayan
Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist

Anna Lalayan has about 10 years of experience in the field of public opinion polls and implementation of the monitoring and evaluation researches. During her career Anna has been responsible for development of the methodology and implementation, as well as for the ongoing monitoring of more than 100 research projects. Since 2015 Anna is working at the "Health Project Implementation Unit" State Agency as a monitoring and evaluation specialist. Anna graduated from YSU with degree of Master of Sociology, as well as studied the basics of PR in the distance learning lab of Faculty of Sociology for a year.
